Will no longer return here, having run restaurants/pubs this is not the standard I would expect from a hotel and on previous occasions has never been this bad. Food OK but expensive for what it is. Service was terrible, when they sat us down for breakfast no one took our drinks order at the time and had to go get someone after more then 5 mins of no one returning to take our order. Finally ordered breakfast, you can see the the kitchen when food is ready and they only brought the adults breakfast over left the kids one the side. We had to ask where my sons food was, which was sat there for quite some time the server that brought our food order over never returned so had just left it. We finished our coffees before our breakfast came no one removed the old cups or even asked if we wanted more drinks. No one came to do any checks to see if the food was OK. If the restaurant had been busy I would have possibly thought OK staff are rushed off feet etc but it's was not busy enough to warrant such poor service.

This is the monthly get together of partners in business from over 50 years ago. We had the most fantastic dining experience! Kianne was an outstanding server, demonstrating impressive knowledge of the menu, including some past gems like the 3 for £18 starters. Every dish we tried was not just imaginative but also delicious—especially the Slow Roasted Lamb, which was incredibly filling. The vibe was perfect, the cleanliness spot on, and everything from the drinks to the service was top-notch. Can’t wait to come back for another unique meal 😄

Nice room and very comfy bed but no air con. Really good food however quite expensive. Staff are friendly and the place is clean and nice to stay. Location is lovely. Meeting room was nice and had everything we needed. Good vegan options!
