My wife an I stayed in the Studio suite and took up the Sunday Supper club option. The meal was exceptional complemented by a quality wine list and fantastic attentive staff. The room was quality and well prepared with excellent facilities. The breakfast was again top quality and our waitress was top class. We had a truly fabulous stay and well done to the entire team for giving us a truly memorable occasion we will certainly be back . Thank you.

Loved this place. After a four hour trip we were delighted with the room we had booked. Very thoughtful welcome pack inclusive of home baked biscuits, Yorkshire tea and a Yorkie bar of chocolate. The pub had a great atmosphere and steeped in history. Food was amazing with a great selection of fish and seafood dishes in addition to usual fayre. Good quality wines and a very memorable bloody Mary. Excellent breakfast the next morning with continental choices as well as full English. Fabulous stay.

We enjoyed our visit to this pub - the shared seafood platter to start and the Chateaubriand to share for the main - all perfectly cooked and presented well with excellent service. The only slight minor issue was that the table we were sat on was too small for the shared platter board and the beef main board to be placed on but this was something of nothing and easily resolved and didn’t impact the overall enjoyment of the evening. This pub seemed like a thriving place and was very busy which really speaks for itself - we would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others - we found it a very pleasant and relaxing evening and the staff were all very friendly.
