1.0a week agoSpa - whoever works in the customer service dept has 2 brain cells. I scheduled a spa and a facial as a gift, have been in contact with them for a month to ensure everything goes smoothly, they change the spa appt time without even notifying me. I agreed to the new time change and when my guest showed up at the spa, they changed the time again! We had plans following the appt… You need a new team who knows how to manage a calendar and communicate via emails.

1.0a week agoUnfortunately we came away from a weekend’s stay not with memories of the gorgeous location or peaceful atmosphere but feeling deeply disappointed in the level of service we received. My husband accidentally left behind a brand new item of clothing in the room and despite contacting the hotel as soon as we realised (ie as soon as we unpacked) we were told no item had been found. We were repeatedly promised it would be looked into thoroughly and to expect a call back but no-one called. We called again, no further response. My husband sent an email and, yes, again no-one responded. On a smaller note I notified the team that the phone in our room wasn’t working and needed charging but no-one came to sort it out and every call I made to services within the hotel I had to use my own phone. I’m genuinely saddened by all of this and it has left a bitter taste after what was meant to be a special weekend away. This is the first time I have publicly shared negative feedback on a hotel stay but I want to say to anyone considering staying here that you will need to be extra vigilant with your belongings.

1.0a month agoShocking, uncaring customer service. My father-in-law booked 2 nights at the hotel, 6 months in advance. Pre-paid. He had a major heart scare and requires a heart bypass. I asked the hotel if they'd kindly allow him to move the dates back a few months, post-op, when he's fully recovered. He was not seeking any refund or cancellation. Simple response from them. NO.
