At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’. Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel du Vin Winchester is a boutique hotel in the heart of one of England's oldest cities. Built in 1715, this Queen Anne-style building is close to the historic cathedral and Winchester's shops and attractions.

A very nice centrally located hotel. I would have given 5* for room if a walk in shower was available and also no lift but overall a good place to stay. Nice bar.

We visited for a meal with a party of about 15. We had pre ordered but there were problems with the food coming out, due to staff absence as we were told and information falling through the cracks. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The food was good, especially the steak. Overall a positive experience.

Our afternoon tea was disappointing & over priced. The tarte tartin was delicious & the "different" profiteroles were good, if a bit tricky to eat with the ice cream melting. Otherwise the food was not of the standard I would have expected.
