On the edge of Berkhamsted’s high street market, The Kings Arms serves a Mediterranean inspired Breakfast, Brunch and Sunday Lunch menu, that prioritises quality and the use of fresh ingredients.

The Kings Arms is not only the perfect place to stay, but also boasts an excellent dining experience, as well as a large selection of drinks. With its diverse array of menus, the Kings Arms is perfect for enjoying with friends and family any time of the day. The dining area in the Kings Arms includes a bar area that offers comfortable seating by fireplace, whilst their open plan restaurant is a warming and relaxing to enjoy a great meal or beer.

Kings Arms Breakfast menu is served till 11am Monday to Sunday and features a range of Breakfast classics including a full English, avocado on toast, buttery pastries, and buttermilk pancakes.

The Bottomless Brunch menu is served Monday to Saturday until 4pm and boasts a selection of Breakfast dishes including eggs benedict and buttermilk pancakes. Their Bottomless Brunch service comes with a selection of freshly produced sandwiches that use Mediterranean ingredients, including chorizo, calamari and mozzarella. The Kings Arms also has many vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options for customers.

Sunday Lunch at The Kings Arms has a selection of dishes with a main and Roast menu available between 12:00pm and 21:00pm. Their mains menu includes a variety of different delectable dishes that use many different flavours and ingredients. The menu includes a lemon and rosemary braised lamb shoulder, salmon spinach and fennel en-croute and a Chicken Caeser Salad. The Roast section of the menu boasts a selection of hearty and mouthwatering roasted joints, with a slow roasted sirloin, porchetta with duck fat roasted potatoes and thyme roast chicken, all available for enjoyment.

The Kings Arms is located close to Berkhamsted Castle, and is a 8-minute walk to Berkhamsted train station.

    Went here for the first time on Sunday for a few cocktails and some dinner in the bar not knowing what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The lebanese fries and cauliflower bites were my favourite out of the food I had and the porchetta roast was great although for the price the portion size could have been a bit bigger. My espresso martini and cosmopolitan were also very well done so would like to thank Harry and Raffy (the bartenders on shift), no complaints there at all as they were both very sweet and happy to have a chat! Overall a very good experience, would definitely come back again! Thank you to the team and manager who were all lovely.

    Went here for Christmas lunch, really wished I hadn’t bothered so disappointing. The staff tried to be upbeat and friendly but the food was mediocre. Precooked and you have to select your choice of food on booking so they have no waste which I accept but 1 tiny slice of smoked salmon with a slice of toast and a couple of lettuce leaves didn’t look or taste great. Main course 1 slice of Turkey 1 little pig in blanket 1 slice of bread no own meat burnt cold Yorkshire and random veg really sad looking and for dessert a bought in tiny rock hard pavlova all this for the grand sum of £150 each looks like I will be home cooking next year

    I just had an incredible stay and meal with my family! The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially pan fried seabass from specials menu was cooked to perfection! We also loved the buttermilk pancakes - my son cleared his plate in no time. Can't wait to go back for more tasty food and that comfy bed! Berkhamsted amazing place to visit too. Thank you very much.
