Absolutely outstanding high end pub in the Surrey Hills. The food was absolutely outstanding, the outdoor seating area really open and lovely and the staff super attentive. Our first visit but we are already planning our next.

Our son and his partner took us for Sunday lunch a d when the roast dinners arrived we couldn't believe the poor quality of The food lamb was so tough like leather. Pork was virtually all fat .roast potatoes were barely cooked more like boiled spuds. Gravy like dishwater an d veg rock hard .food came out cold .one of us could eat this slop. Called the manager who bless him understood and agreed we paid for drinks and left .so dissapointed after looking forward to a family meal booked a couple of weeks previously .can't fault the staff bit chefs should be sacked as they have no idea about a traditional Sunday roast

Very cute countryside pub. Had a great Sunday roast and walk around the village. The veggies and potatoes were particularly tasty.
