Bad reception no good afternoon or I will be with you in a minute, 10 minutes before we were seated, another wait before we got served with drinks. Then another wait before we ordered the meal. Yet another wait before we got our meal to find it was just warm. Could not eat it We did complain Waitress very apologetic. Asked for the bill they deducted the price for the drinks which was appreciated but it would have been better if we had better service and a hot meal. It was not busy at all.

We are a small local Archery club and use the pub for our informal socials and some of our meetings . They are always very accommodating, helpful, and genuinely seem happy to help and promote' local'. Their beers especially are sourced from local breweries and are always a hit with our members. The food is great too and reasonably priced. We've often been given use of the small room out the back so we can mingle and talk without disturbing the other patrons. Nothing seems too much trouble. It truly is a great country pub.
