Better than normal, beef pork and turkey were all spot on. Asked how our food was just after the first mouthful, which always makes me think they wait for that moment. No brocoli. Why are they serving peas on a roast. And cheese has no place on a roast regardless if it is with cauliflower.

It is one of the best carveries I and my husband have had in a long time. The roast potatoes and baked onions in gravy are just delicious, the beef could do with less fat on it we prefer leaner meat but other than that it was spot on. Staff are friendly enough and would definitely recommend this pub. Only one criticism would be for the actual pub to have a bit of a refurbishment it does look a little tired and in need of some TLC. Thank you 🌟

Not been for a number of years. Thought I'd give it ago again. Previously this place was the place to get a decent Sunday roast in Sunderland, not anymore it's absolutely 100% a place to avoid. Veg under heat lamps left to dry out, meat cut to translucent slices, choice is shocking nearly all potatoes in some form. tasteless slurry or is it gravy!. It's depressing, needs a complete change of direction. Update the offerings on the menue. Theres more choice and better quality on a burger van.
