I recently had breakfast, and it wasn’t too bad overall. However, most of the food was a bit dry, which made me think it might have been sitting out for a while. Aside from that, it was decent and filled me up. I’d say it’s worth a try, but maybe they could keep an eye on the freshness of the food!

We booked for 2.30 and had to wait outside while they were checking in people. We eventually got in at 2.45. We informed the member of staff who we booked with that one of the party was disabled but we were seated in the raised area which has 3 steps and she was extremely embarrassed to be lifted up. We had to wait a further 15 minutes for a staff member to take our order. On the whole the food was good although 3 of us said the beef was stringy and a bit fatty. It was very busy so it was not the fault of the waitress as they seemed to be understaffed

My friend and I often pop to the Halfway House for their carvery and it's always absolutely brilliant. The food is lovely and the staff are fantastic. I particularly wanted to praise the chef Dave on the carvery. He is always so friendly and happy to serve us and make sure fresh food is out, also waitress Anna! My dad also visits mid week with his friends who are a group of elderly men and they too say Anna is an absolute credit to your team and another lovely member of your staff! Thanks to you all and see you again soon!!
