I’ve been in on many occasions but haven’t left a review. I had an English breakfast with friends. It was typical run of the mill food. It was fine, I had no problems with it. Knocked a star off because they only have fried eggs and not scrambled. I know they can cook it to order but it would be nice to have both options out anyway. Nice coffee!

The young man who attended to myself and my wife tonight was stellar. A great example on how to deliver friendly and efficient customer service. Most notably, and before I had the chance to do so, he carried my wife’s plate back to our table after going to the buffet area. I really appreciated that and she did too.

Great lunchtime carvery. We got here for a late lunch (2pm) but the carvery was still well stocked with great quality food. The service was brilliant with cheerful staff and payment is a honour system so you eat and pay after, unusual in this day and age. Will served us at the bar and was very pleasant and bent over backwards to assist us (we are mature folk). The serving lady was also very pleasant and gave us the topping off the gammon, at our cheeky request, and it was fantastic. Drinks are normal with us electing for one refillable and one standard (poured) and both were great. We didn’t have room for pudding so cannot comment but I’d guess that they would be filling after seeing other people with them.
