    Love a good carvery, and you know what you’re getting here, but over and above most other branches, I think the staff here are the most charming! Lovely service at the bar, chatty chefs at the pass, and cheery chaps and chapesses taking orders and clearing tables. Big fan!

    We have visited this Toby a few times now and have had an amazing experience (each time being served by Bailey) Bailey is an outstanding member of the team and stands out with his consistent great service with a smile and a laugh! Food wasn't as good as usual today, but manager made sure it was rectified. Many thanks team Amesbury! Chefs could do with lowering their tone towards waiters and also turning their music down!

    The staff were doing their best at a busy lunch time. My concern is the cleanliness of the inside eating area and the chairs in the bar area. The Carvery needs a deep clean and fresh chairs. The grey wall at the side of the serving area leading into the kitchen needs washing and a fresh coat of paint, as it is coated in grease. The Carvery needs a good team of cleaners.
