Staff are friendly. Good for baby's as well as dogs- our dog loved the dog treats! Room very good and relaxing and with a balcony.. the only thing I'd say is the breakfast all was nice I'm not a veggie but I don't eat bacon but the veggie sausage could've been better with more flavour veggie sausage and for me I'd like to have two hash browns and more baked beans

We had a superior family room which had a separate room for the kids. Also a balcony. The bed was great and we all slept well. Breakfast was great and all staff lovely. There is a nice walk to the south sea and the castle and lighthouse. Near the pier. 30 minutes to the historic dockyards

A huge thank you to Abbie on reception. This lady truly knows the meaning of CX (Customer Experience). She changed our room for us when there was an issue, proactively sorted us cutlery for our takeaway and was there smiling every time we went passed reception. Given we were there to remember my Dad who we’d just buried (Southsea was his favourite place), this meant a lot. Thank you. Beautiful room and bathroom! Something to be aware of Hotel Maintenance team.. room 248, although lovely.. anytime any room nearly has a shower, the radiator makes a right racket for a least an hour after. It’s very loud and kept us awake a lot. Maybe it needs bleeding? It could also do with a draft strip or something under the big gap under the door to stop the noisy 2am guests.
