    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Magical Cocktail Experience – A Must-Visit in Gunwharf Quays! If you’re looking for a place that combines creativity, amazing drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, The Alchemist Portsmouth at Gunwharf Quays is the perfect spot. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly, and the stylish, modern decor instantly set the tone for a fantastic evening. The cocktails were the highlight of our visit, and they did not disappoint! We tried the Zombie, Pipe Dream, and a French Martini, each one crafted to perfection with its own unique twist. The presentation was spectacular—especially the Zombie, which came with an incredible smoky effect that made it feel like a true work of art. The Pipe Dream was equally impressive, with its stunning visual presentation and smooth, well-balanced flavors. For nibbles, we had the chicken wings, which were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect pairing for our drinks. The portion was just right for a light bite while enjoying the drinks and atmosphere. The service was excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful experience.     I've wanted to visit The Alchemist for a couple of years now due to it's unique atmosphere. It is easy to say that the place and drinks were impressive. Every drink is uniquely delivered and while not all the drinks I ordered were for my taste (due to personal preferences), I can easily say that I enjoyed most of the drinks I had. The cocktails on the light side of the menu are especially great and a good choice if you don't like the strong taste of alcohol. The unique manner in which all drink is served is what makes the place truly unique. I want to especially thank the Asian bartender who made all of our drinks during our visit and was very patient with me as I learned how to correctly drink each of the drinks I ordered. I would totally recommend the place.

    I had an exceptional meal recently! The food was top-notch—every dish from the Chicken Bao to the Panko Halloumi was delicious. Our server, Imra, was so kind and really enhanced the experience with great suggestions. The atmosphere was perfect, and everything was spotless. I can’t wait to come back for another round!
