Lovely place, nice food, a small amount of Gluten free food, I'm fussy as well so less options. Nearly left but Sian helped and made us stay without realising she made us stay. Nice area for date night, catch up or celebration but don't expect much from the GF menu.

Lovely service and a nice selection of pasta, pizza and other meals. £30 for a bottle of basic Prosecco seems a bit steep for a chain but otherwise fine. Nice place to have lunch or dinner in the marina area.

Carluccios food is always very good. We were able to easily book ahead and request an outside table when we arrived. There are 2 outside areas - directly at the front, plus another terrace accessed through the inside restaurant. They were extremely busy so service was slow just due to numbers of customers vs staff. Fortunately the views outside meant we were happy not to be in a rush. The only advice is the staff shouldn't come to your table and looked as stressed as they did or say "for Christ's sake" under their breath (I appreciate it was a stressful evening for them, with the Clipper Boat Race final being in town). Highly recommend the calamari starter, carluccio beef burger, and seafood risotto
