The Botanist in Newcastle is an absolute gem! The ambiance is incredible—cozy yet lively, with beautiful decor that creates such a unique vibe. Though we were here just for drinks, we loved every bit of it. The rooftop views were fantastic, giving us a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend The Botanist as the perfect spot for a night out or special occasion—can’t wait to visit again!

I loved the central location in Newcastle's city center and the building itself is amazing. Inside, there's a stunning glass ceiling that makes you feel like you're in a giant, chic birdcage. The vibe and atmosphere are fantastic, and the service is friendly and attentive. However, the food was disappointing—bland and mediocre overall. I would have loved a bit more vegetarian options as well. The only highlight for me was the hot cookie dough dessert, which I had never tried before and absolutely loved, addictive. Come here for the unique ambiance and vibes, but not for a memorable culinary experience.

2x Hanging Kebabs 1x hummus starter 2 x pints and a service charge =£55 about the going rate for dining out in Newcastle now even if you went to the pop up crap in Eldon Square food everywhere is So overpriced. Food was tasty and plentiful still not sure about the hummus being served in a Troul, just put it in a bowl.
