Toby Carvery - Goldington

The roast here is delicious; and it should be, being it is TC’s specialty. Probably best to call ahead and book a table, but my colleague and I had not; we were still received happily and found a table quickly. While I ordered two meats, I believe this resulted in my receiving more ham and less beef—I’ll just order the beef next time. I’m from the US, and we don’t have anything like the dumpling and Yorkshire, which are so good—everything was good! The staff were exceptional, friendly, and prompt. The value of the meal here is outstanding. The atmosphere was to my expectations, clean and warm. Oh be sure to start with at least one order of pigs and blankets. Come hungry, leave filled to the brim :)

Jacob the staff member was brilliant! very polite, attentive, helpful and a great waiter. ( definitely deserves a Christmas bonus)! Food was lovely we had the roast carvery. Relaxed environment for families. Great for kids too. Warm and friendly environment. Many thanks!

Meat succulent, vegetables not over-cooked and lots of variety, fab gravy and a good selection of table sauces. Food portions good value and food stayed hot on the plate. Staff friendly and incredibly helpful. They were attentive without being intrusive.
