Zouk is a melting pot of the very best traditional Indian recipes with a modern twist that has expanded into a compelling Breakfast & Brunch, Bottomless Brunch and a Sunday menu.

Combining street food from the markets of Lahore, with more traditional dishes from other parts of the Indian sub-continent, Tayub and Mudassar Amjad are the sibling duo behind Zouk whose mission was to create a live cooking dining experience in a contemporary setting right here in Manchester.

You could be forgiven for assuming Zouk was a cocktail bar with its extensive cocktail menu and the airy open lounge terrace that is packed out with people on a sunny Saturday. Inside, tables surround the open kitchen where guests can enjoy watching the chefs get to work in a modern and contemporary setting.

Zouk has won many food awards since opening in 2009 including Glastonbury Food Trader’s Award and the English Curry Awards. And, in keeping with the main menu’s Indian cuisine, inspiration is carried through into the Brunch menu with dishes such a Maharajas Breakfast – the Indian equivalent of a Full English with seekh kebab, turkey rasjers and spicy beans being served – and a Masala Omelette that adds a spicy kick to this classic dish.

Zouk celebrates Indian and Pakistani culture serving various sharing banquets and platters throughout each of the menus, reflecting the importance of sharing food in family life. This way, you get the opportunity to explore the many different dishes and debate your favourites!

Zouk's Bottomless Brunch serves a range of your favourite Brunch classics with an Indian inspired twist, including Bollywood Eggs Benedict and a Scrambled Paneer. This Brunch offers a selection of two dishes off the menu, accompanied with ninety minutes of Prosecco, Mimosa, Bellini and a range of other cocktails. Or indulge in a non-alcoholic Brunch and enjoy free flowing juice, soft drinks or a selection of mocktails.

Sunday Roasts at Zouk offer much more than a traditional Sunday Roast experience. With a selection of Whole Poussin, Mini Lamb Roast, Whole Roast Raan Chicken or Roast Topside of Beef, all roasts are served with seasonal veg, crisp roast potatoes, spicy gravy and a Yorkshire pudding. Zouk also offers Roast platters, serving two or four people, a Saji Roast Leg of Lamb and a Vegetable Tikka roast.

Went here for my sons birthday breakfast! The service was quite slow and the waitress looked a little flustered to be honest. She was very polite. But as there was only 3 tables seated (including ours) we seemed to wait a long time for our order to be taken and then another long wait to receive our food. However it was worth the wait. The French toast was the best I’ve ever tasted😍 we got the breakfast share platter. They put extra waffles on for my son which was massively appreciated and very thoughtful❤️. The venue itself is stunning inside. The entrance is beautifully lined with flowers. The kitchen area is open and impressive. And the decor is immaculate. We will definitely be visiting again for breakfast and will most likely go to try the dinner menu as well 👌🏽😁 Oh I’ll add that there is plenty paid parking right outside on the street. So you don’t have to walk far to enjoy the Zouk experience 👍🏽

I recently hosted an event at my home and had Zouk cater for us. Not only was the price per head as affordable as a finger buffet, it was fresh, so tasty and travelled perfectly. The team came to set up around 30-40 minutes before we were due to eat, and I was so shocked at the quality of the set up. Everything was put over flames to ensure it stayed warm. The dishes they were served in looked traditional, while keeping things warm at the same time. The sheer amount of food we got was incredible. The portion sizes they’d worked out per person were more than generous and our guests absolutely loved it. We got a variety of foods to suit a variety of dietary requirements we had at the event and everyone was really impressed. I will definitely be using it again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it either.

The place is very nice and looked after, the starter (mixed platter) and butter chicken curry was very nice. However, the chicken steak and the vegetables were cold/dry, the poppadoms tasted like fish. We spent an awful amount and ended up having to leave still hungry. Over priced but a nice clean place, nice environment and service was good.
