The Refuge is the perfect place to spend your Sunday. The menus takes inspiration from around the world sourced with best ingredients in the North West.
If a traditional British Sunday roast packed with bold characteristics and rich tones couldn't get any better, The Refuge offers a Roast Platter for Two. The platter includes all the meats - Slow-cooked rump of Lancashire Beef, Garlic and Thyme-roasted Cumbrian Chicken and Yorkshire Porchetta and all the trimmings. The selection of meats is accompanied with Garlic and Maldon salt roasted potatoes, glazed carrots, buttered greens, Vimto red cabbage, carrot & swede puree, a Yorkshire pudding, beef jus and watercress.
The Refuge also offers individual roasts with all the trimmings, serving the same selection of meats and a vegan Wellington with roasted celeriac, duxelles, red onion, kale and potato. The Sunday menu offers a delicious array of classic Sunday roast sides including Pigs in Blankets with a honey mustard glaze, Grilled Tenderstem Broccoli and Cumberland sausage, sage, shallot & apricot stuffing balls!
