Brunch in style at The Lost and Found. Tucked away in the heart of Knutsford, this Victorian-inspired bar is just the right level of quirky.

The Lost and Found features a light whimsical touch as antique curiosities are scattered around the two storey building- we love the vintage decor and the iconic neon 'Sshhh' sign.  The interior strikes the perfect balance between the contemporary and the traditional, from the industrial exposed-brick walls  to a cosy, dim light corner with a built-in bookshelf.

A weekend isn't complete without a Bottomless Brunch and The Lost and Found deliver. You have your choice of free-flowing Prosecco, Mimosas or Bloody Mary's alongside a varied menu. The Brunch dishes range from classic options such as Smashed Avocado on Sourdough Toast to more intriguing dishes such as the Green Shakshuka (slowly cooked spinach, leeks and peas, topped with a poached egg, Greek yoghurt and rose harissa, served with a charred flatbread).

For those with a sweeter tooth, The Lost and Found Knutsford serves a decedant Tiramisu French Toast, a Mascarpone and Coffee French Toast topped with hazelnut chocolate, Greek yoghurt and cocao powder!

This was our first visit here and we decided to go for the light bite and open sandwich options. We had the Smoked Haddock, Leek & Cheddar fishcakes and the BLT Open Sandwich. We shared a portion of Triple Cooked Chunky Chips. The portions were perfect and it all tasted amazing. We didn’t have cocktails this time but that’s something to look forward to next time. The venue itself was clean, spacious and quite pretty inside and out, It is also wheelchair accessible. The staff were lovely and welcoming, checking in on you without hovering. We will definitely be back. This venue is child friendly and has a children’s menu. They do a gluten and wheat free menu as well as catering for Vegetarians and Vegans. There is some on street parking but you are only limited to an hour, there are 5 good sized car parks within a 5 minute walk of the venue, these are all pay and display. A little note that it may be worth booking a table as it filled up quickly.

Visiting on Friday and the place is lovely to look at! Really welcoming staff at the front. We had booked a meal which takes you upstairs away from the vibrant bar. Atmosphere in the restaurant was a lot quieter and subdued especially since it was a Friday night. Steak was great but the service let it down with incorrect drinks orders, no steak knife being brought with the steak so having to ask and a rude waiter that had the attitude of he didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t want to serve people. I’d go again and maybe just have a drink there but not in a rush
