4.02 weeks agoGreat for a roast dinner you you don't want to put an all day effort into doing it yourself. Good food, great selection and a really nice environment when going outside of peak times. Customer service was excellent. The bathrooms do need renovating though. UPDATE: I've now tried the breakfast as well. Think hotel breakfast buffet and you'd be on par with what's being offered. Totally worth it!

5.0in the last weekAs a non-meat eater, I wasn't expecting this meal to be particularly enjoyable as I've found the food at carveries to be generally quite unappetising. I was however very pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of food on offer, especially the Salmon Wellington. My prawn cocktail starter and sundae dessert were also very enjoyable. At £25 for three courses and a beer, I thought that the meal was great value for money. Well done Toby Carvery, Romford.

1.0in the last weekDate of Visit: 14th December 2024 I had a terrible experience at Toby Carvery during my recent visit. From start to finish, the service and quality were extremely disappointing. Drinks Machine: The drinks machine was out of syrup, and when I informed a staff member (who I believe was the manager), my concern was completely ignored. Billing Issue: We were given the wrong bill, which showed a lower price than the final amount we were asked to pay. This lack of accuracy was very frustrating. Food Quality: The carvery was poorly stocked, with very little meat available, and much of the food had dried out from sitting too long. Service: The service was appalling, with staff being inattentive and unhelpful. Cleanliness: The toilets were dirty and not maintained to an acceptable standard. Overall, this visit was a major disappointment, and I do not plan to return anytime soon. I hope management takes steps to improve their service and standards, as this experience was far below expectations.
