Food was good, I was revolted by the customer service. It took a solid 10 minutes to be seated and the woman who took us over was cold and unsociable. It took then another 20 minutes for our order to be taken, at which time we went to get our food but then the drinks didn’t reach us for ten minutes after we started the roast. The woman who gave us the bill slammed it on the table with little remark and told us to pay at the till. I am anything but impressed. The woman at the till was rude and didn’t acknowledge a goodbye or any customer. Will not be returning

The building could do with a facelift very unkept. Poor decoration. Staff are excellent and helpful Two days of an excellent excellence standard however roast potatoes can often be hard cauliflower is always hard . Other veg is very good. There is an attempt to put roped lane dividers in the carvery area to direct the queue . These are broken leaning at 45° angles impossible for disabled people to get through. They have to be moved and once you’ve moved them one way you then have to circumvent them again and move them to go round the loop as if at a ride at Thorpe park . This is a very easy fix. They’re broken remove them or replace them but don’t use faulty items which are trip hazards for the elderly and disabled staff were notified. They are aware of the problem but it appears management are doing nothing. This would have been a 5 Star review had it have not been for the condition of these lane dividers at the carvery service area . Simply the building needs tidying up, dusting painting, decorating the product you’re providing is excellent. The maintenance is letting you down. Value for money again is excellent .
