I had an excellent experience at Toby Carvery! The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked – everything you’d hope for in a great carvery. What made the visit even better was the amazing service provided by Kelly. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right for us. It’s clear she takes pride in her job and genuinely cares about the customer experience. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!!!

My aunt took me and my partner here for a lunchtime carvery on 29th December 2024. My aunt and I both have mobility issues. We were seated very close to the exit end of the carvery & the barrier was moved so we could use the exit as the entry as well. Our server was so polite and helpful. He smiled all the time, and nothing was too much trouble (meant to write this before the new year, but was unwell). I wanted to give a big shout out to him, but as it has been a couple of weeks, I no longer have the receipt. I pretty sure the servers name began with a J. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. The carvery chef was also very polite and happy to chat with us as he served us. The meat was moist, and the vegetables and potatoes on offer were piping hot and plentiful. The gravy was lovely and thick with good flavour. Loved how big the Yorkshire puddings were. We found room for dessert and enjoyed a delicious apple and plum crumble with custard. A good-sized individual serving with plenty of custard in a jug so we could add as much as we wanted, where we wanted it. It has been a while I've eaten here as I now live in Scotland, but I will definitely eat here again when I visit family in the area.

I went to the restaurant and was seated by someone who had long blondish brownish hair , she looked like she didn’t want to be their at all , she seemed to have attitude the whole time we was their which was very unwelcoming. While we was eating I saw her giving a waitress a hard time, from what I saw the waitress was only trying to help her. Really feel sorry for the waitress. I asked for another drink off what I assume was the manager as she was dressed casual and all she said was ask your waitress which I think was very unprofessional. Other than that the food was lovely but I think you need to go over who you hire for management and she is clearly not cut out for it .
