Had a lovely dinner at Newbury Toby- never disappointed Alex the lovely lady who took care of us is a gem! Very upbeat and efficient- offering all sorts of starters and pigs in the blankets!!! People like that make us want to come back! Good luck Alex! We hope to see you again soon

Hello all, Decided to get a breakfast for my partner and I after an early morning airport run. I ordered a takeout via just eat from Toby Carvery in Newbury Berkshire. Eventually when my food arrived it was wet and smelled of coffee. I opened the bag to find my food covered in coffee which had been wrapped in cling film. So as you can see by the photos my food was ruined the Yorkshire wrap was chucked in a paper bag and not wrapped in foil as you might expect. This in turn was soggy at the bottom there the coffee had leaked. Anyway put a complaint into Just Eat and guess what? Got a reply saying thank you for my understanding and that they were not prepared to give me credit or a refund due to the info I provided was inline with there policy.... What does this even mean? Anyways you all out there be the judge of this. Would anyone be happy with soggy breakfast covered in coffee? I'm disgusted with Toby Carvery in Newbury and very disappointed with Just Eat how they brushed me off. Would love to know if anyone else has experienced similar with Toby Carvery and Just Eat.

Visited today. Really disappointed with the service. The service was incredibly slow we waited 45 minutes for a pudding in the end we cancelled and left. There was only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant at 3pm. The food itself was lovely and hot, no complaints there. The staff were too busy making tablets for the not existing customers & talking amongst each other. The manager was just floating around looking like he was just wanting his shift to end. We spoke to said manager about cancelling the puddings so we can leave we got no apology for the long wait. We weren’t the only ones that complained. 2/3 complaining tablets is not a good luck.
