Toby Carvery - Newbury

Toby Carvery is a great spot in Newbury to enjoy a classic roast dinner. After many years of going to this local restaurant it’s safe to say new staff and management has finally made the restaurant run smoothly. The food during the visit was all perfectly cooked, previously I’d found food to be slightly cold or food options not available but with Josh running the restaurant like a well oiled machine the food was impeccable. The service provided by Josh and the rest of the team was excellent! I attended with family and Josh provided extra attention to detail. Small things like spending a little more time at not only our table but other tables around the restaurant to ensure everyone was happy. And giving more time to allow younger members of our family to order their own food which is great for their confidence! I can’t praise the staff enough after the recent visit, it’s clearly gone up leaps and bounds! I’d highly recommend heading in during the weekdays while it’s slightly quieter (and cheaper!!)

Had a lovely dinner at Newbury Toby- never disappointed Alex the lovely lady who took care of us is a gem! Very upbeat and efficient- offering all sorts of starters and pigs in the blankets!!! People like that make us want to come back! Good luck Alex! We hope to see you again soon

Really amazing staff who were attentive and doing their best when it was absolutely rammed full of people! We had a lovely meal and the place was clean and welcoming.
