5.05 months agoHonestly wasn't expecting much as we have been to a few carvery restaurants that have been pretty poor but I have to say this was absolutely brilliant. It was very busy yet the food was all hot and fresh, there was a good selection of meats available including lamb which is super rare, pork, gammon, turkey and beef. Restaurant was super clean and tidy and staff are brilliant, accepting and non judgemental when it comes to neurodiversity in children. They were so welcoming and attentive, I can not fault here at all! For a Sunday treat we really enjoyed it, I will say however it did come to £52 for 2 adults and a child for a drink each and dinner, which I feel is a bit expensive in relation to a Toby 2 years ago (yes I know prices have gone up, but £14.99 per adult and £7.99 for a child under 5 is just silly) Oh and they didn't have any lactose free milk, so when I got my pot of tea I had to drink it without, should always have an alternative for people with intolerances and allergies.

5.03 months agoFamily pre Christmas get together. Christmas 3 course menu excellent value for money. Our server Dee was exceptional! Friendly, efficient and attentive. Host Neve and carver Lucy were friendly and polite. Totally enjoyable evening.

5.0a year agoI have dined at Toby Carveries a few times in the past with varying experiences. However, I felt strongly that the staff here deserved a special mention because of the warm welcome and outstanding service that I received this evening. My carver was the lovely Sylvie, who really made me feel valued as a customer along with the engaging Sophie whose conversation and interaction made for an enjoyable evening. I appreciated the faultless service I received from Kacey, Ellie, and Sharon. The food was hot, well prepared, and generously carved. Well done, everyone!
