Overall very happy with the meal and the restaurant, great atmosphere created by all the servers. Only negatives - a bit light on meat for the cost and pudding was a bit dry and could have used more custard, but as I say overall great dining experience, would recommend. Particular thanks to our server Jasmine who was a delight, entertaining all at the table - including a fussy toddler!

Came here on a busy Sunday afternoon, as we’ve found the food is definitely fresher when it’s busy. Our waitress Eve was super friendly and helpful, even with the place being full. The roast meats were delicious as always and the Yorkshire puddings were huge and perfect. The other dishes were not so great. The parsnips were black (and so no one was eating them, which meant they don’t get changed!) the cauliflower cheese was a very loose definition of that. The carvery area was pretty messy and not cleaned in the 2 hours we were there. New food was continuously poured on top of the old. Condiments had been accidentally mixed by people and were not changed. Fizzy drink disperser was out of a couple flavours. It is what you expect from the place though to be fair. Reasonably priced filling food in large quantities. I am sure we will be going back again.

My husband took me out for a meal. Was very busy as half term offers. No problem there. Very good waitress, but our desert had cleatly been left till the ice cream had melted before it cane out. The waitress a differentb one, almost threw it as us, as she was clearly embarrassed at the state of the desert. My husbands sundae was melted. A complete mess. No chocolate flake either on mine. Won't come again We said to.the waitress. Apology, no reduction. Had to pay full price. Won't go again.
