Yesterday, my wife and I had a delightful breakfast at Toby Carvery on High Road, Buckhurst Hill, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The dining area was spacious, clean, and had a traditional charm, which instantly made us feel at ease. The English breakfast spread was absolutely fantastic. There was an extensive selection of freshly cooked items, from crispy bacon and succulent sausages to perfectly fried eggs and black pudding. The hash browns were golden and crispy, just how we like them, and the tomatoes and mushrooms were beautifully cooked, adding a lovely balance to the heartier options. We were also delighted to find that they had a variety of toast, along with butter and jams, as well as tea and coffee, all served piping hot. One of the highlights for us was the service. The staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and always with a smile. The food was constantly being replenished, and everything tasted fresh and of high quality. The value for money at Toby Carvery is excellent, especially considering the generous portions and variety on offer. Whether you’re after a hearty breakfast to start the day or just a relaxing meal in a comfortable setting, Toby Carvery at Buckhurst Hill is a fantastic choice. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying breakfast in the area!

We come to buckhurst hill toby carvey quite often, it's great value for money and always has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We've been served by Cameron a few times now, he's always polite and more than happy to help! Leaving feeling full and satisfied even got a takeaway for my boy. thank again

I’ve been visiting this branch for 20 years and this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. Our server, named Geo, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Her service was of a much higher standard than we have ever experienced in any of your restaurants and she was incredibly thoughtful. We had ordered starters which arrived while we were choosing our carvery. Geo made sure that our food was covered until our return. The restaurant was pretty warm and we were informed that the air con was being turned on but if it became too cool then she would happily adjust the temperature. Very small acts of kindness but very much appreciated. Geo had a very warm and welcoming presence, she is a fantastic host. I hope to be served by her on all subsequent visits!!!
