I visited here for a family meal, and we all chose the carvery option for our main. The main carvery meal was nice, however, there was a ten minute wait to be served at the carvery deck and some of the vegetables and the vegetarian gravy were not very warm. The portions for the main carvery were extremely good and the meat was very well cooked. Some of our party had dessert and all desserts were very nice. One of our party had an allergy and this was taken extremely seriously. An iPad was provided with all possible menu options so each possible choice could be checked for potential allergens. The member of staff also said there was an option to have the vegetables steam cooked separately if required. This part was excellent and should be commended. Overall we had a lovely meal but the restaurant did get very busy around standard meal times. Would recommend.

Came for a Sunday carvery, my first time coming to. Toby Carvery, so didn't know what to expect. Was very busy however service was extremely quick and got our food in under 10 minutes of arriving. Meats were very good, however the Yorkshire puddings and some of the sides weren't to my personal taste. The price for the carvery was very reasonable especially given how much you get.

Really disappointing! We’ve eaten here on numerous occasions and have always been pleased with service and value for money. However on this occasion it was really disappointing. Waiter service was next to non existent. We waited 20 minutes to order drinks and with no waiters in view we went and got our meal at the carvery. The vegetables were all but cold. We wanted to order the vegetarian options but as no staff were in evidence we eventually just made do with cold/luke warm vegetables. We waited another 30 minutes to order a pudding but again no staff were in evidence so we gave up. We paid [eventually] after yet another wait and then left. I doubt we will return. Such a shame.
