Situated on Surbiton High Street, The Victoria boasts a mean Sunday roast and an atmospheric beer garden that's popular with locals.

The beer garden is an idyllic watering-hole in the summer, thanks to the fairy light-strewn palm trees,  garden huts and Burger Shack.

Inside, The Victoria is a classic, homely pub featuring rustic wooden panelling, a crackling fireplace and ambient lighting. Take a seat in one of their plush chairs and unwind with a pint and well-made food.

A true British pub, The Victoria specialises in hearty comfort food that is served all day. We love their new Brunch menu, which includes more creative dishes such as the Baked braised ox cheek in gravy, crushed new potatoes & Nantwich cheddar.

A Sunday Lunch is the perfect way to end the weekend, and everyone can join in as The Victoria's roast is family-friendly! They offer arts and crafts fun for kids every Sunday afternoon alongside a kid's roast. Meanwhile, the adult's roast ranges fromRump of Angus Westcountry beef, Sutton Hubbard chicken or a delectable Plant wellington, pig in blanket! All served with crispy h beef dripping roast potatoes, maple roast carrots, crushed swede, red cabbage, gravy, double egg Yorkshire pudding.

Situated in South West London, The Victoria is a short walk from Surbiton Station.

Amazing pub! I’ve never been before and from the experience I will be going again. From the moment we walked in the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and had great mannerism's which is always a great start! The food was amazing! We ordered the bruschetta and steak bites for the starter which only started off our eagerness to get our mains as it was so delicious! For our mains we ordered the haddock and chips as well as the burger which was to die for! We even had the chef himself provide us with our meals and ask how it was, which was a nice touch. I would also highly recommend the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert!

As an irregular visitor to the pub the cost of an ale and a lager for nearly £14 was wholly unpalatable. There are quite a few good pubs nearby offering a better range of drinks at more reasonable prices. If you want to go budget there’s Spoons, but the newly reopened Elm Tree and Flyer on the high street offering a much better option and are busier. A short walk away there’s a great selection of pubs from The Lamb to The Antelope and The Grove. They all do lots of good beers rather than the limited Young’s standard selection. All generally reasonably priced too. For a pub like this to charge such prices they need to up their game. No wonder it was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon and other pubs were very busy. They need to align their prices with the selection of drinks and what they’re offering (which isn’t much). The pub is need of a bit of a rethink as not much has changed in years and it’s just a bit of a sterile atmosphere. Had one drink and left. Sadly I won’t return in a hurry.

I asked to have my mums hen do activity ‘Paint the Groom’ at the Victoria. Not only did they say yes to this booking, they also exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to have a large table area in the restaurant area, they allowed my friend to arrive 3 hours prior to the booking for the area to be decorated. Their service was superb. I could not thank them enough. Thank you so much!!
