    in the last week
Ordered an afternoon tea. When the server couldn’t find any cream in the fridge, I was told to eat this display cream which I can only assume had been out for some time. This is a very basic food hygiene failing.

Was quite busy when I went, as to be expected on a hot day. Was a pleasant environment and have a lovely conservatory. A good selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as plenty of ice creams and sorbets to choose from! Prices were average for nowadays, with a mango sorbet and fizzy drink costing me £5.50 Overall, a very lovely experience

Went here for breakfast this morning for the first time. Ordered the ‘buttered’ sausage bap, but the bap was barely buttered. When I asked for some more butter I was told by the friendly waitress that the chef had told her I was not allowed any more than 1 tiny sachet of butter and if I wanted more I would have to pay for it. Given that the bap was advertised as buttery, and it arrived with very little butter on only one side of the bap, I felt that it was quite rude for the chef to refuse to give me more butter. It ruined what would otherwise have been a nice experience and sadly I won’t be returning.
