We had great Sunday roasts here. The beef roast was very tender and one of the best cooked beef roasts we have had. The staff were friendly and assertive. The setting is really lovely with a great view of the canal and it wasn't too noisy (like how pubs can get sometimes).

Cosy pub, friendly service. We were a large group and the food was brought with long time lines we all ate at different times. We ordered for the medium rump steak and it cane well done and as we had waited for long just ate without making a fuss. I love the location and the views especially facing tye canal.

We came here on a Sunday and the weather was glorious outside, so being by the canal was so nice. We reserved a table upstairs. Not so crowded and we didn't feel crammed in with a dog and a toddler. We did walk by downstairs later and it looked more busy. We ordered via the app which was convenient, but do note that you will need to sign up, so you may prefer ordering at the bar instead. Food was really good! We ordered fish and chips and it was cooked really well and also came with a curry dip! We also ordered a pork Sunday Roast - presented beautifully and had a good amount of meat, and veg.
