The food was DRY. The hamburger is like eating a saddle (only option is extra well done, horrible and dry) and the roasted chicken was dry as well. Atmosphere was excellent and service was good…till you are done…then they walk past your table 9 times and ignore your desire to leave. Would not recommend this place. I’m not opposed to paying good money for good food, but this is way overrated.

Location close to Victoria tube station, I went at lunchtime, very busy and noisy downstairs, but had a table upstairs which was quieter and less busy. Staff are polite and friendly. Deco art-deco, advent garde, chic, very unique painting along the wall to the WC, felt like I was in an art gallery. The Ivy has a 2 course menu for £20. It really was delicious. I had the chicken skewers and the shepherd pie, delicious. I had a glass of house champagne, but it tastes like a citrus elderflower sparkling wine. Would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back.

I am extremely impressed with the service I received and the quality of the meals I ordered, the restaurant was extremely festive and the small touches really made it extra magical. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a perfect start to the day. A great way to spend the festive season! I would also like to say a big Thankyou to David J and Shakthy for the great service they provided. Being attentive, accommodating, friendly and making the whole experience feel even more special.
