A stunning venue overlooking the Docklands, here is a gastropub that’s as one-of-a-kind as it is a familiar, family pub.

The Gun is a Grade II-listed building, with roots in 18th century armoury (Lord Nelson inspected guns there; hence the name) and boasts an unbeatable view of the river. Soak up all that history on the outdoor patio and enjoy relaxing al fresco dining in summer months.

Sundays Roasts at The Gun are a regal affair and harken back to the traditional family events of yore. Celebrating quintessential British ingredients, the dishes combine tradition with culinary invention for the perfect complement of flavours.

Mains range from roast Sirloin of beef with creamed horseradish to a whole corn fed chicken for two, all of which are served with trimmings and plenty of gravy.

Why not have a relaxing stroll along the river after dining, the perfect way to end a lovely Sunday afternoon? South Quay Rail is under five minutes away on foot.

This pub is absolutely lovely! The interior is super stylish, and the outside area is really well-done too. We went on a chilly day, but it felt like a warm hug inside. The food and service were top-notch. I highly recommend the fish and chips - they’re absolutely delicious! And the French onion soup is to die for.

It's a really lovely pub in a lovely setting. The food is very good and so is the attention of their staff. We found some dishes a bit too pricey (dover sole), that's the only negative thing I would say, but the quality was very good. We'll definitely be back

Fantastic spot! The food was delicious—lamb, ravioli, and my all-time favorite beef tartare blew my mind. Absolutely top-notch. Now, I hate to nitpick, but that sticky toffee pudding came with what must’ve been the tiniest scoop of ice cream known to humankind. But don’t worry, a glass of port came to the rescue. Oh, and the crispy lager was on point, too!
