really lovely pub, perfect for summer. great beer garden, although we booked an outside table and we’re sat under a canopy so didn’t get much of the sunshine. I’d recommend specifying if you want to sit in the sun when you book!! ☀️ food was good, a little pricey but as to be expected for the area. £6.50 pints of cider, some beers were cheaper. there’s no table service so you order at the bar. overall - great location and vibe so would defo come back for the summer time!

My partner and I hosted our engagement party at the Garden Gate - we booked an area outside for 60 people and around 40 attended in the end. When we arrived, the staff were great at clearing the area quickly and making sure we had water and knew where everything was. I love the outdoor garden space with the fairy lights. The service is quick, friendly and the food is good. The prices are typical London prices but you get good quality drinks and a lovely space - it's our favourite local pub :) My only complaints are wishing there was music played in the garden for more atmosphere, and the toilets are super tiny and awkward to move around in when it gets busy. But other than that, we had an amazing time!

The highlight: This pub has beautiful and spacious outdoor seating, which is usually very busy on a nice day! I recommend booking a table in advance via their website. The food needs to be ordered and paid via a QR code and gets served to the table. The drinks need to be ordered at the bar. We visited for Sunday roast - the roast to share had loads of meat. ⛰️ The vegan roast was nice to try, but lacked some flavour and was quite dry even though we used all of the provided gravy. I wouldn't necessarily have it again. I recommend the spiced chickpea salad 👍
