The Flask pub is a beautiful Victorian treasure that's become a modern example of the traditional London pub. Welcoming a diverse range of customers from post-work drinkers to those dining out, it's the ideal setting for ultimate relaxation and indulgence.

The Flask has a stunning decor that is rich in history, with a typical and well-restored wooden bar and antique pictures, while the conservatory is the perfect sun trap that gives The Flask a bright and airy feel. There are plenty of places to sit, with a choice of bar stools and cosy booths that create a friendly and sociable ambience that The Flask is famous for.

The menus feature British pub classics alongside the very best seasonal produce, and the dishes are prepared with skill and care to make you feel like royalty. On a Sunday, The Flask serve indulgent roasts, with options such as Hertfordshire half chicken, West Country beef rump or parsnip & walnut nut roast as a vegan option. The roasts sit alongside plenty of other mains for those in the mood for something different, as well as an array of decadent starters and desserts.

Nestled in Hampstead, The Flask is just a stone's throw from Hampstead Underground Station and a short walk from Hampstead Heath.

As roasts in London go I would rate this 5/10. The beef was overdone and the double top Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry. Believe there was a potato shortage and the sauce on the side was extra charge. Still very nice location. Very good Bloody Mary. Still in search of the best Bloody Mary but this one was alright.

Really nice place, but 84 decibel music is designed for the staff, not the guests. PS: the owner just replied, thinking the sound level must be from a different pub. I'm still here, and it's currently showing above 85dB. Have taken a photo and sent a message upstairs inviting them down to sample it. PPS: He came down and we chatted. Very nice guy called Jesse. We redid the sound test, and he said he didn't know anything about decibels. There's a quieter room behind, but it had no seats free.

Great service let down by very disappointing food. Sunday roast looked and tasted like it was cooked hours ago and reheated. Beef was overcooked and dry, potatoes tasted like they had been frozen originally and also dry and the “truffle cauliflower cheese” was lacking truffle and any flavour from cheese. If only we’d had been closer to home and not missed lunch we would have left without eating it. Kudos to the great staff who tried to salvage things by offering a complimentary dessert - I’m just glad I wasn’t paying for the less than average piece of cheddar, fridge-cold Brie and one type of cracker. So disappointing as we’d read great things about this place but we weren’t the only people to complain today.
