This was a wonderfully delicious place. We got the family two person meal which was plenty of food for my spouse and I. It was well made. Their sticky toffee pudding was not good at all. It was dry and tasted unpleasant, and the cream was lumpy, not smooth. I regretted biting into it as I was left with that taste in my mouth. The dinner was so good though. Much worth to go to!!

What a wonderful pub. The decor is traditional and elegant. Sunday roast was delicious and abundant. Staff extremely friendly and so kind. Unique atmosphere with clientele from young to regulars that have been going there for 50yrs. I am really excited to check out the Theatre upstairs. And a bit of trivia, did you know playwright and author Maureen Duffy used to be a regular!

Stopped off for a quick pub lunch when I was early for a local appointment. I arrived just at the start of lunchtime and the pub was quiet. I wanted a quick bite so ordered from their sandwich menu and this consisted of the choice of several sandwiches/ wraps etc and a range of non alcoholic drinks. I ordered the Korean chicken wrap, which was very tasty and came with the choice of a side salad or fries. Friendly team Good food Prompt service Good value for money Highly recommended
