Had lunch yesterday with 3 friends. Wonderful experience, all the staff were friendly and engaging. The food was flavourful and comforting and the wine list is banging! (technical term.) Happy to recommend. 5/5

Was recommended by a friend for a Sunday roast which I was initially skeptical about (not a huge meat eater). We ordered the Turkey suet crust pie and the beef roast with Yorkshire pudding. And it was one of the best meals we have eaten this year! I ate the entire pie. Ambiance was lovely and cozy, service was timely and friendly. I have no idea how the average for this place is only four stars, we had an amazing time start to finish. Def recommend.*****

Really nice pub in a lovely Georgian building. Good food. Decent beer selection. The room is large and high ceilinged with solid walls. It makes it rather echoey and noisy. Could do with some soft furnishings or acoustic treatment to reduce the noise levels.
