Nine of us had breakfast brunch in the pub as part of a Thames walk. The Manager opened earlier than normal to accommodate us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beer was very good and the breakfast was excellent. A great place to eat and drink. I would thoroughly recommend the Cross Keys.

Came for mother's day at about 5pm. Food was delicious but service left a lot to be desired especially as by that time it wasn't very busy - not attentive, asked the same question by multiple members of staff, brisk and didn't return to take plates, empty glasses, kept forgetting to bring over tap water and didn't ask about dessert. Just a bit rude too as they first poured the wine they missed my glass and spilt all over my cutlery (absolutely no harm done accidents happen!) but the issue was they then made a comment like 'oops' and said maybe you'd rather pour it and then walked away leaving the wine all over the table and cutlery?... Like sure I'll pour the wine but can you help clean up the table which is now covered in red wine? Also we paid a deposit which they forgot to take off our bill - had to call twice to get them to credit it back to us - shouldn't take two calls to get back £40 of over paying.
