The Breakfast Club have been ‘Taking care of breakfast since 2005’ and show no sign of slowing down, with their iconic yellow gaffs popping up everywhere across the capital.

Pull up a stool at the American diner-style bar or take a seat at the distressed wooden tables. The coloured tiles, wood panelling and rose-coloured ceiling give an eclectic feel that sets it apart from its sister restaurants, never mind the Pat Butcher memorabilia scattered around the place.

For veggies, the bean shakshuka & avo toast is a delight – poached eggs in a thick harissa, tomato and pepper sauce with sliced avo toast for dipping. Carnivores can’t go wrong with The Breakfast Burrito, which is full to the brim with chorizo, egg, peppers and spicy pepper sauce (also available as a veggie version).

Suppliers like Joe’s Tea and Karma Cola work closely with The Breakfast Club, cementing their status as a champion of independent businesses and ethical practices. Their products are all sustainable and come from across the country to celebrate the best of British.

Check out their secret tequila dive bar before heading for London Bridge Rail Station, which is a five-minute walk away and just a stones-throw from The River Thames if you fancy some post-breakfast sightseeing.

Our first meal off the plane and we wanted a real English breakfast. This one definitely felt a bit like it was catering to tourists but still had a lot of the qualities of a solid English breakfast. The service and atmosphere here were great - all the staff were very friendly. The place was packed with a wait, and seemed to be filled with both tourists and locals. Our group all ordered either the Full Monty or the Greasy Spoon. The sausages were delicious - seasoned really well. The beans were also very rich - probably soaked in some kind of animal fat maybe? Nice spot for a hearty breakfast!

I got eggs Benedict. And as professional chef from Denmark. 🇩🇰 I was really happy with what I got. I wanted a smaller thing so instead of a full English breakfast I just went with eggs Benedict. A little surprised when I got 2 pieces and like 6 slices of pretty good quality bacon. Very tasty. I got a juice and a coffee. On the side. All in all very happy. I got what I went for. 👍🏼 Very polite service and very cool vibe. Good way to kickstart the morning. I will be back.

Great American restaurant close to London Bridge. Food was very good. I had some avocado on toast with eggs; and it was very tasty. Other members of my party were very pleased as well. The coffee could’ve been better; didn’t really have much flavour. Prices were a little bit on the expensive side. Customer service was amazing! Props to our waitress that catered for all of our questions and requests with a great and positive attitude as well as super quickly. Would definitely come again.
