The atmosphere and food were excellent, and Pavel was an absolute delight—witty, full of energy, and attentive. His recommendations were spot on, and throughout our meal, he frequently checked in to ensure we were happy with our food, which made us feel valued. The lady who handled our bill was also incredibly sweet, patiently answering our questions and warmly inviting us to return. However, one disappointing moment really tainted the experience. While we were still enjoying our dessert, the manager approached us and bluntly told us that people were waiting for our table, placing the bill on our table without so much as asking if we had finished. It didn’t feel like a polite inquiry—it felt like a dismissal. I had booked the table for 19:00, yet by 20:30, we were essentially being told to leave, which I found quite rude and unprofessional. Up until that moment, the dining experience had been wonderful. Unfortunately, that one interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I truly appreciated the kind lady who processed our payment—she went out of her way to explain the situation, even though she really shouldn’t have had to. I felt sorry for her, as she was left to make amends for something that should never have happened, which is spending over £130 on food and drinks, only to be rushed out in less than 90 minutes, felt incredibly unfair and left a sour impression. A dining experience at this price point should not come with a time limit, especially one that isn’t clearly communicated in advance.

Such a unique late-night experience with inventive cocktails, a lively DJ, and a buzzing atmosphere. The drinks are delicious and presented with theatrical flair, making each one a visual and flavorful treat. The creative preparation and the DJ's music combine for a memorable night out. If you're looking for a sophisticated evening with exceptional cocktails and good music, The Alchemist is a must-try. Be prepared for a slightly higher price point, but the experience is well worth it. Highly recommended for cocktail enthusiasts and those seeking a fun, vibrant night.

Overall, the place is nice to enjoy with friends or colleagues. It's an ideal place to take your team after work. Drinks are nice, and the food is okay. Will definitely go again for after work drinks. MOST staff members are super nice, kind, and helpful, which makes the experience enjoyable. The heaters outside make it easy for the smoking buddies as you're not freezing. Upstairs terrace (non-smoking ) is too cold, almost like being outside, so if you book, consider this. There is a restaurant area which is lovely and downstairs, the atmosphere becomes more lively with DJ and louder music late evening. Theatre cocktails gives you a cool Instagram worthy shots 😎🔥
