5.0a week agoPan-Asian Experience menu inside Pan Pacific hotel . If you are a fan of Pan Asian cuisine, then this experience is for you. Situated inside the beautiful Pan Pacific hotel, The Straits kitchen offers the following Experience Menu: . Scottish Miso Salmon Chicken Satay Skewer Steamed Prawn and Chive Dumplings Hereford Beef Short Rib or Peking style Duck Gula Melaka Creme Brulee. . The short rib and duck definitely stole the show for me, but everything was amazing including the service and wine pairing. You get one glass of Prosecco and three glasses of wine including dessert wine. To finish the perfect evening we stopped at the hotel's Ginger Lily Bar for some amazing cocktails. . 📍Location: Shoreditch 🚇 Closest station: Liverpool Street Station 💰Price: £65pp for five plates, £35pp wine pairing Cocktails around £15 at Ginger Lily bar

4.0a week agoThey offer a lunch menu and a quick fire set menu. There's different styles on offer on the lunch menu- laksa, noodles of salad. Then you choose a protein, options include roast pork/crispy pork belly. We were deciding between afternoon tea or one of the set menus. In the end we each went for a quick fire set menu. For the small plates we got duck rolls and king prawns. For the large plates we chose black cod and chicken. The classic Singaporean dish, Hainanese chicken rice, otherwise would have been an option. Shame there's no chilli crab on the menu anymore. There was a Sunday roast buffet on offer here, but it seems they may have stopped this. This restaurant is in the Pan Pacific hotel. Go through the entrance for the hotel and they'll direct you. We paid £45 for the two meals and two mocktails. 5.05 months agoWe thoroughly enjoy afternoon tea experiences in London and have indulged in at least 20 different ones. Among them, this particular experience stands out as one of the most memorable. Instead of the usual finger sandwiches, they offer a delightful selection of Asian cuisine such as egg rolls, dim sum, and baos. While you still have the option for Traditional Tea, it would be a missed opportunity not to explore their unique offerings. If you find yourself hungry, don't hesitate to ask for a refill – we certainly did! The desserts are equally impressive, with everything tasting fantastic. The service is just right: attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
