Lovely spot! Quality in each piece of food brought over to the table. The Sando are amazing! They are sort of sandwiches with a lovely brioche bun. Sake was lovely and enjoyed the vibe eating at the window seats. Would say it’s a bit expensive as we paid around 35£ per person but it’s central London and at least you eat something really tasty and authentic!

We came here because of the reviews however the food sadly disappointed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The best dish was wagyu beef tataki, that was a solid 8/10. Everything else sadly was underwhelming in addition to salmon tacos having a gone off fish taste which we had to return. The pork chashu bun - one was great, one had a really fatty meat consisting of 60% pure fat. Chicken wings, were overly glazed in my opinion. I’d give them a 4/10. The service was excellent and everyone were extremely friendly. Overall review is a 3/5, the service and atmosphere increased it.

The service was excellent, and the ambiance was well-set, though the tasting menu felt overpriced for what was offered. A better option might be to order individual dishes, which are priced around £25-£30 per person, rather than the £90 (45 pp) tasting menu. I can recommend the wine! Sauvignon Blanc was delicious. One dish in the tasting menu was disappointing: the chicken was dry, slightly overbaked, and lacked sauce (as seen in the sixth photo, though the picture isn’t ideal). We opted to switch the aubergine for broccoli, but the broccoli could have benefited from being cooked a bit longer before baking. For the food only, I think I won’t come back. Guess the tasting menu is just a tourist trap. Ps. If they ask if you want water, still or sparkling, just say tap, will save you 4.5£ (time of writing 5.2€).
