Went with a friend for a drink/meeting, which then extended to dinner last night. I haven’t been so well looked after in any London establishment for an age. The team, door to concierge to library to restaurant, were exemplary. Absolutely lovely, so attentive, so kind. Food was delicious. This is one of my favourite ‘best kept secret’ spots in London. Huge thanks to the team - you do everything right.

My wife and I stayed at the soho on Valentine’s Day. I was a disappointed with 2 things. 1- we were charged for taking a bottle of alcohol from our room when we didn’t, we always pack our own. 2- a high end hotel should take into consideration that woman will be dressed up on Valentine’s Day. My wife couldn’t get from the front door to the uber without slush going over her ankles, ruining her shoes. The attention to detail that you would expect just wasn’t there

This is our favourite London hotel - one we’ve stayed at on 5 occasions over the last 5 years, and are heading back there in a couple of month’s time. It’s tucked away on Richmond Buildings, off Dean Street in Soho, right in the heart of that wonderful, bustling quarter of the West End. The location is excellent as most places of interest (theatres, clubs, galleries, major shopping streets) are within an easy 15 min walk, but being located on a mews street, the hotel is also an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of Soho. Like all the Firmdale Hotels, the decor is relaxed and comforting, and the staff and service consistently first rate. The bar is particularly eye-catching with its colourful mural on the back wall with art deco like motoring scenes - I can happily spend time absorbing all of the details while enjoying a libation!
