🚇 Blackheath 🍺 £6.80 Asahi O’Neill’s is located just south of the heath in the heart of Blackheath in Southeast London. The nearest station is Blackheath mainline. This pub was originally called The Three Tuns and has a history dating back to the 18th century. This former Charrington’s pub appeared in CAMRA’s first printed edition of The Good Beer Guide published in 1974. This is a medium sized one bar pub that has a contemporary feel. The servery is situated on the right hand side and is clad in metro style tiles. In front of the servery is the main bar area, as you head further back you’ll find a raised seating area with comfy booths, at the rear of the pub is a small outside space. The decor consists of exposed brickwork, a boarded floor, a mix of seating, an eclectic mix of prints and some funky lighting fixtures. The beer line up will please the masses and offers a range of well known keg favourites. I opted for an Asahi, my pint was great, price point was to be expected. The food menu has lots of different comfort food options including Spice Bags and Burgers, there are traditional pub grub choices too, Fish & Chips costs £13.75. I visited around 2.30pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon in June. There were about a dozen or so local punters in attendance plus a middle aged man walking around the pub taking loads of photos. There is a nice local pub feel to this place, the atmosphere was laidback and friendly. The service was excellent, the upbeat bar staff were welcoming and courteous. This was one of my favourite pubs I visited on my crawl around Blackheath. I loved how relaxed and down to earth this pub felt compared to some of the more upmarket pubs close by. I have been to a number of O’Neils pubs and they have been decidedly average, but not here. @oneills_blackheath is definitely well worth checking out if you’re in the area. 📅 1st June 2024 More London Pub info @londonpubmap 🍻

It's a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious burger and a reasonably priced pint of Madri during happy hour, which runs from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 20:00. The atmosphere, service and the staff are terrific! I highly recommend it.
