The Brunch menu features a wide array of options, from healthy granola bowls to devilled mushrooms on sourdough or jalapeno cornbread. There are also plenty of juices and smoothies to complement the extensive menu.

In the evening, Notes dim the lights and serve a selection of craft beers, inventive cocktails and plenty of small plates and sharing boards to see you into the night.

Came for an afternoon snack and coffee. The cafe has got some seats upstairs and some downstairs, they got a good variety of choices, prices are decent overall. The staff was cordial and asked several times if we wanted anything else.

A lovely coffee shop in terms of location, seating, cleanliness and staff is nice, particularly on a Saturday afternoon. The range of food is classical for a coffee shop in the area. Service was speedy. The coffee however is average. It’s not the hottest ( in all respects) .

Visited for lunch with a friend around 11:30am on a weekday. We could only sit on bar stools near the coffee bar as upstairs seating was full and couldn’t sit outside in the cold December. I’m vegan and found a nice amount of food options but very basic “easy” options such as porridge, avocado on toast etc. I got the avocado on toast with beetroot hummus which was tasty but I couldn't justify the price for just one slice of toast (little salad would have been nice?) I added vegan feta for £3.50 and looking back that price was pretty outrageous considering a pot of M&S vegan feta costs the same. I ordered an oat matcha latte and was quite disappointed. Again over priced and one of the only cafe chains in London still charging extra for oat milk? I know matcha has an earthy taste but this was straight up grass milk so I had to add sugar. It also hadn’t been mixed well - I couldn’t finish the cup due to matcha powder clumps at the bottom. I won’t be revisiting or recommending this chain to anyone
