Absolutely loved No.1 Duke Street! We had roast dinners…perfectly cooked, super tasty, and just what you want on a Sunday. The service was a little slow at the start, I would’ve liked things to move a bit quicker…but it picked up and was fine in the end. The staff were friendly, which made up for it! Also, the interior design is on point! Loved the architecture inside, stylish, modern, but still super cozy. Definitely added to the whole experience. Will 100% be back next time I’m in Richmond, especially for drinks!

A cozy bar & restaurant with excellent service, delicious food & drinks. Better to book a table before coming. Usually crowded on weekends. They have contemporary interior with a real fireplace, nice touch. There are many seating areas, indoor, outdoor, and upstairs. The toilet was okay.

Consistently lovely meals at this popular spot with a big menu of finely prepared plates with quality ingredients. Stupendous hummus and shishito peppers, dense and filling minestrone, excellent wine and draughts. Caesar salad with Halloumi cheese just the ticket. Pleasant staff with memorable hospitality and easy vibes. Casually posh.
