Recommended! MAP Maison has a quirky decor with comfortable furnishings. The tasty tapas themed afternoon tea made a change from the usual on offer at many venues. We booked via a BuyaGift voucher which included bottomless gin. The service was excellent. The various cocktails and G&Ts were offered promptly by Charlotte and the team. The atmosphere was better than expected for an early evening on a Wednesday. We ordered an espresso martini as an extra - verdict was 10/10. Go try. What’s not to like?!

They were so accommodating with our booking request timings, especially when we had to rebook for another day because of train issues. On arrival, we were welcomed warmly by staff in this really cosy bar and their wide whisky collection is very interesting, especially for whisky enthusiasts. The staff were very attentive and pleasant, and were obviously knowledgeable about whisky. All our drinks were great, and the food and cheese were superb. The tapas portions were a surprise as they were huge! Overall, it was a truly satisfying and pleasurable visit!

We did the Japanese Whiskey Experience and had a great time! Very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable.. Learnt loads! The venue is super, easy to find and just a short walk from the nearest train station. Small and funky with a huge range of whisky’s and a fine cocktail menu! Would definitely recommend!
