The epitome of glamour, The Ned is London’s premier luxury hotel and houses many gorgeous restaurants including Kaia, an Asian-Pacific inspired Brunch spot with food as stunning as the surroundings.

This striking Grade I listed building previously served as The Midland Bank and has been renovated into a lavish hotel, preserving many of the bank's original features. The impressive 3000 square meter banking hall is now home to a collection of restaurants, including Kaia.

Tucked away in the corner of the hall, Kaia is a tranquil spot filled with a variety of plants and trinkets. Featuring an open kitchen and bar seating framed by Japanese lanterns, watch the chefs prepare intricate dishes. Kaia promises to deliver fresh and wholesome healthy food, and the presence of sushi and poke bowls on their menus suggest an expertise in seafood- the word 'kaia' means 'the sea' in Hawaiian.

Opt for traditional Brunch dishes given a modern brush-up. Indulge in a selection of starters and maki rolls, with sharing options from kimchi salad to fried chicken bao or dynamite shrimp there is plenty to choose from. The main course also features a range of dishes such as teriyaki salmon or grilled pork belly. You will be greeted on arrival with a glass of sake, or why not try one of the featured cocktails such as the mango ginger bellini. Finish off the exquisite Brunch experience with the sharing dessert platter.

For the ultimate Brunch experience there is the option to go premium, where the Brunch menu is served alongside Head Chef's selection of sashimi and nigiri as well as a choice of mains including black cod and lamb cutlets.

Located in the City of London, Kaia at The Ned is just a short walk from Bank Station.

Kaia delivers a visually stunning dining experience with beautifully presented dishes and a refined ambiance. The food quality is exceptional, showcasing an excellent balance of flavors and textures. Each plate feels like an artistic masterpiece, carefully curated to excite the senses. The standout dishes I tried were masterfully seasoned, fresh, and innovative—perfect for a special night out or casual indulgence. The only downside is the location of the restaurant, tucked away at the far end of the hotel in a corner, making it a bit tricky to find. Clearer signage or directions could enhance the overall experience, ensuring patrons can easily locate this hidden gem. Despite this minor drawback, the attentive service and exquisite culinary experience make Kaia well worth the visit. Highly recommended!

This restaurant, located inside The Ned, completely won us over. While The Ned itself is already a charming place, this restaurant made our evening even more special. Everything was delicious, but the sushi, in particular, was the standout.

Had a superb dinner on a Saturday evening here. We chose to order from the sushi menu and went for tuna sashimi, dragon roll and the thinly sliced wagyu beef. All were exceedingly fresh and flavourful, with the prawn in the dragon roll being the best we had ever tested. Service was on point and the food came relatively quickly. As per all the restaurants on the ground floor in the Ned there is a general buzzy atmosphere with music from the central stage, although you are further away here than others so slightly quieter. For me, that atmosphere is why we keep coming back time and time again here! Definite recommend
