JOIA is the first London restaurant by award-winning two Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa. Inspired by Henrique's culinary heritage and travels across the Portuguese Iberian Peninsula, it's the perfect destination to finish the weekend on a high with JOIA's Sunday Lunch menu.

The interior of JOIA is inspired by the iconic art deco style of Battersea Power Station, where the design amalgates classic elements with contemporary sophistication. The restaurant's ambience is bathed in natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, with views overlooking the iconic Power Station, harmonizing with a soft palette of pinks and greens that permeate the space.

JOIA has a Portuguese inspired menu offering a delicious selection of petiscos and tapas. The Sunday menu features pan con tomate, padron peppers, grilled leeks and Iberico croquetas, followed by a choice of mains and desserts for just £55pp. Every Sunday, guest musicians span across genres - from acoustic guitarists to jazz trios, this is a Sunday Lunch experience that is not to be missed.

The restaurant is located on the 15th floor of art'otel Battersea Power Station, directly the Power Station and a 3-minute walk from Battersea Power Station tube.

Sold me on the bag hooks!!! Went for after-dinner drinks and was blown away by the atmosphere and location. The vibe is relaxed and chilled yet vibrant, with live music throughout the night adding a special touch. The drinks were crafted with care and tasted amazing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, and I’d love to come back during the day to see how it feels in the daylight. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back yet lively evening experience!

Food was overall good, but nothing too special at a price tag of £95 for tasting menu. Wine pairing was also good.l and reasonably priced. Service was not great. No one explained the wines or the food when they came or it never felt super professional, so I never felt the nice special dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful, in my opinion you are paying a large price tag for the view. I wouldn’t come back, unless for a drink or snack. £375 for 2 people for tasting menu and wine pairing plus a glass of champagne to start. (this including their automatic service charge, even though we were only 2 - and be careful to notice as they don’t mention it’s included already). I would recommend to spend this kind of money some place else where the food is the main focus and not the view.

I have to say that I did have better vegetarian mushroom dishes than here, also the Spanish inspired bravas lacked something too. That’s why it gets a 3 star for food. The waiter was super nice, I think he was called Xavier! The cocktail which had gin, lychee, and rose was amazing. It looked so elegant and smelled so delicious. 🤤 Truly something different, so i would most likely come back for cocktails here only. 😎🙂
