5.0a week agoI went with family for a post graduation meal. We all ate from the lunch menu having 3 courses for £33/£40 (£40 included a £7 upgrade from rump to fillet steak). We all found the price to be great value for the quality of the food. Paid a little on top for some celebratory drinks. The service was attentive without being stuffy and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. As we went on a weekday afternoon there were a few business lunches in there, no surprise with the good lunch menu on offer! Worth noting that being a meat heavy menu, one of our party is vegetarian and loved the veggie option on the lunch menu. Pictured is the fillet steak cooked medium rare (with peppercorn sauce)

5.0a month agoOur first visit to Hawksmoor and wow, what an absolute gem, from the moment we arrived (late as wife was watching strictly in the bath) but what a great experience. Staff were amazing, so friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Food was delicious and such generous portions. Can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return to try out the Sunday lunch.. Must mention our waiter Thiago, what an absolute star...x x

5.0a week agoBooked a table with my wife and daughter to try the restaurant. I have been wanting to try the place for a while. The restaurant is easy to find, once you get in, the decor and lighting is moody. The service is excellent and the staff there are attentative. We ordered a variety of food to try. The crab on toast was wonder, the lobster equally good. For mains, me and my wife tried the chateaubriand and my daughter the rib eye. The chateaubriand was good, though the rib eye was rather salty. We made the server aware of this as we weren't sure if that was to be expected. Still the meat was very good. We also ordered the garlic mushrooms and a ceasar salad. Overall, would recommend trying Hawksmoor.
