Sunday brunch at Grind. Ordered the house crumpets with smoked salmon - the crumpets were slightly dry but the poached eggs were cooked well (if you prefer the runny yolk) The butterfly tea latte was so good!! Would probably come back for drinks next time

Been coming to Grind for about 5 years, today was quite disappointing. Vibes are good as usual of course. I ordered a SMASHED avocado toast and was presented the below monster chunks of the avos (see photo): No staff asked me how the food was, so here I sit with an injured upper jaw from the overly toasted sourdough and choking from the soggy edges of the bread, suffering in silence. I’m sure other branches will do better but at liverpool st I’m not so sure. And this was £16 by the way

Really nice environment for a relaxing morning coffee. Great oat milk flat whites. The food looked really lovely and I look forward to trying next time I’m around Shoreditch. Stylish area right next to Liverpool St. station.
